You may be wonder if coming to Burnt Well is a good fit for your family, so we’ve put together a list of reasons why a R.A.N.C.H Family Vacation could be the perfect fit!

Reconnect – With little to no cell service and limited WiFi you have the freedom to put your devices away and pay attention to…eachother! Sometimes adults have just as hard of a time with this as kids do. But, the conversations you end up having because you’re not distracted are well worth it!

Atmosphere – Our goal is to provide a place for the family unit to grow stronger, and a family atmosphere is what you’ll feel here. And while we’re talking about atmosphere, you’ll be blown away by the number of bright stars in the sky at night! Don’t forget your telescope!

No Schedule – Chances are your days are filled with work, school, homework, housework, sports practice, recitals, meetings, volunteering, etc., etc., etc.! So much to do and we can’t get there quick enough! Take a breather and enjoy our slower pace. Although there is always something to do, for the most part our days are flexible and during the booking process we’ll discuss how much, or little, you are wanting to do while you are here.

Challenges – At some point during your stay, whether it’s while you’re riding or working cattle, you may feel a little out of your comfort zone. That’s a good thing! That’s when we grow! Facing these challenges as a family is a great way to grow closer and creates the kind of memories you’ll appreciate for years to come.

Hard Work – You will have a lot of fun while you are here, but there is also a lot of work involved in operating a ranch and caring for livestock. This is a great way for younger ones to experience first-hand the value of hard work, see how rewarding it can be, and maybe even gain an appreciation for where their food comes from.

    Hey There!
We are a working ranch family from Montana and we are looking for a Christmas Vacation destination. We love to visit other ranches and help with ranch work. We want to immerse our kids in other ranching cultures and have a recharge with our big family. We have 4 kids ages 3 to 9. The three older kids all ride and the 3 year old rides with me. Would you take a family over Christmas time?
